Favourite thing to do in Blenheim?
Relaxing on the water in the Marlborough Sounds -from fishing, boating or swimming, you have to include the water in anything you do.

Our beautiful landscapes, from the Marlborough Sounds to the high country.

Where is a local hidden treasure?
The traditional underground wine cellar at Johanneshof is a must-see. Another hidden treasure although not so hidden I would highly recommend visiting is the Omaka Heritage Centre.

Check out Kate's amazing local tips to explore the beautiful Marlborough.

Favourite thing to do in Blenheim?
Biking the Taylor River, often ending up at the Taylor Dam.

What makes Marlborough Unique?
The Marlborough Sounds on our doorstep. No two days are the same in the Sounds and it is always beautiful.

Our local hidden treasure?
Craig Lockhart's swimming hole which I discovered this summer is almost as good as our hotel’s swimming pool . A great friend of mine, whom I worked with in Wellington, grew up in Blenheim and shared this treasure with me.

Once again, a big thank you to Kate for always looking after our fabulous breakfast station and putting love into every meal
